2012 is starting to look like its going to be another great fishing year. This week photo is about Stripers. Winter time fishing is some of the best in the year. Stripers are feeding up preparing for the winter months ahead . Most people fish with jigs in the winter as we have been doing for the last few months Here in this weeks photo Is Larry with two Striper caught this past Sunday With all the low water we have now most fish are out in a little deeper water were they were making there winter run, Some fish have moved up in the shallows but for us the deeper water is paying off better. With today's temps in the 30s with a 15 mph South wind, In this weeks fishing report most fishing is good to excellent. Crappie are good in the channels on jigs from 8 to 15 ft over brush rock structure. Were also finding a few fish on standing timber and around the bridges.. White bass are schooling and have been doing good in the main part of the lake. Good numbers of Catfish are being caught on jug lines.
